Course Objectives 

Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to: 

 

  1. Review first trimester pregnancy lexicon and recognize early normal and abnormal fetal development in the first trimester. 

  1. Understand the approach to screening for and describe the sonographic features of placenta accreta spectrum. 

  1. Identify structural abnormalities of the fetal genitourinary and gastrointestinal systems, face, thoracic cavity, extremities, and posterior fossa.  

  1. Identify normal and abnormal examples of the 3-vessel-view and fetal venous system.  

  1. Demonstrate understanding of prenatal screening and diagnosis, and ultrasound findings associated with genetic disorders.  

  1. Understand unique complications of monochorionic twin pregnancies. 

  1. Demonstrate diagnosis and risk stratification of the growth restricted fetus. 

  1. Improve skills in the proper imaging evaluation of a non-pregnant patient with pelvic pain. 

  1. Recognize sonographic features that can be seen in the postpartum uterus. 

  1. Learn how to use O-RADS classification system for assessing adnexal masses. 

  1. Understand the use of 3-D ultrasound for evaluating Mullerian Duct abnormalities. 

  1. Improve ultrasound evaluation of infertility.

Please look for an email a few days prior to the course containing a link to download the lecture slides to your device (or to print a copy if you wish to have them on hand at the course.) You will receive a notebook with lecture objectives and notes pages onsite. Your course evaluation and CME certificate will be sent to the email you provided when registering.

Diagnostic ultrasound equipment is scheduled to be on site. 

Group Registration Discount 

Two or more registrations qualify for a group discount. Call our office to receive $75 off each registrant’s fee. The registrations must be made at the same time, and this discount is not retroactive. 

Refunds 

A fee of $75 is charged for cancellations received by August 14, 2024.  We’re sorry, but we cannot provide refunds after that date.
