Artificial intelligence is a common buzz word used in the global medical imaging community which has many practical implications. In this CME presentation an experienced radiologist shares the basics of AI to provide more understanding of artificial intelligence terminology, discuss the differences between AI and CAD and explore its’ application in medical imaging.

Upon completion of this lecture, participants will be able to:

  1. Learn the differences between AI and CAD

  2. Understand the advantages of AI in breast imaging

  3. Learn the pitfalls of AI and how to avoid them

  4. Optimize practice to improve cancer detection with AI
