This webinar is designed provide a comprehensive review
of evidence-based practices and data that highlights
power of CEM technology, on its own and when compared
to other modalities. Expert faculty will delve into
evidence-based practices, highlighting the diagnostic
efficacy, patient care, and workflow efficiency associated
with CEM. Faculty will also discuss advantages,
limitations, and clinical evidence when comparing CEM
and MRI. Considerations such as clinical indications,
patient-specific factors, economics, and resource
availability will be reviewed to provide a framework for
when to use each modality. Attendees will leave this
session with an understanding of CEM's place in current
practice, clinical benefits, patient satisfaction, and
workflow efficiencies, ultimately enhancing the quality of
breast cancer care.
At the completion of the course the participant will be able to:
-
Review breast density, why it is important and how it affects diagnosis
-
Examine the challenges in assessing density and what tools are available in determining breast density
-
Discuss advanced tools for managing the dense breast patient:
-
CEM vs MRI
-
How patients are triaged
-
CEM and MRI evidence-based research discussion
-
CEM biopsy
