The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City | A scenic glass elevator ride to the Third Level reveals more than 170 appealing stores and restaurants including Macy's, Nordstrom, Ann Taylor, Apple, Banana Republic, Guess, J. Crew, Kenneth Cole, Steve Madden, Swarovski Crystal Gallery, and Victoria's Secret. The sky lit Food Court features international specialties from the familiar to the exotic.

Pentagon Row | Adjacent to the hotel, Pentagon Row is a vibrant shopping and entertainment destination with a unique combination of specialty retailers, exciting restaurants and amenities that includes a central plaza with outdoor cafes, an ice-skating rink that is open November through March, and a 10-week Outdoor Summer Concert Series.

Georgetown | 4.5 miles-As D.C.'s favorite shopping area, this charming historic neighborhood with a lively street scene boasts specialty shops and national chains alike. Most stores lie to the east and west on M Street and to the north on Wisconsin. Georgetown Park, D.C.’s largest shopping mall, features more than 100 world-class shops, boutiques, galleries and cafes.

Historic Old Town Alexandria | From the Potomac River waterfront to the King Street Metro, restaurants, shops and historic attractions line King Street and the side streets radiating from it. Events, including parades, house tours and a two-day art festival, make Old Town a lively neighborhood year-round.

The Smithsonian Institution | The world’s largest museum complex is comprised of a myriad of museums and exhibits including: Air and Space, Natural History, American History, American Indian History, Art and Sculpture gardens, the National Zoo and much more. Admission is free for all Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C. Most are open daily from 10 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.

National Gallery of Art | The National Gallery of Art houses a permanent collection of more than 100,000 art objects from the middle Ages through the 20th century.

Thompson Boat Center | The Thompson Boat Center, conveniently located at the intersection of Rock Creek Parkway and Virginia Avenue on the Potomac River in Washington D.C.'s Georgetown, offers something for you no matter what your interests. If you enjoy relaxing on the water, their canoe and kayak rentals give you the chance to see DC's monuments from a unique perspective, and to explore the hundreds of square miles of National parkland surrounding the Potomac river. For those who prefer to remain on land, they offer bicycle rentals to let you explore our nation's capital and its many bike trails. And for those who wish to learn how to row or to hone their skills, Thompsons offers some of the best introductory training and most competitive racing programs in the country

Rock Creek Park Horse Center | Operated by Guest Services, Inc., Rock Creek Park Horse Center is a duly authorized concession of Rock Creek Park National Park Services US Department of the Interior. Starting again in the spring and continuing through summer and early fall, Rock Creek Park Horse Center offers walk only guided trail rides and pony rides through the park. These rides area available to the public regardless of experience level and require reservations. They also offer an extensive lesson program.
