Course Objectives

Upon completion of this conference, the participant will be able to:
• Date an early gestation and identify sonographic clues to a failed pregnancy
• Recognize the signs for a cesarean scar pregnancy and placenta accrete spectrum
• Optimize the sonographic equipment to image the fetus in the first trimester
• Incorporate tips and pearls regarding the new AIUM First Trimester Detailed Anatomy Practice Parameter
• Recognize the hidden clues in the mid-sagittal plane of the fetus to aid in the diagnosis of underlying abnormalities
• Look for clues in the fetal brain to recognize normal and abnormal fetal brains
• Demonstrate how to evaluate the fetal face and neck
• Identify abnormalities of the fetal extremities and associate them with the most common syndromes
• Discuss key lessons learned from obstetric legal cases
• Recognize the most common abnormalities of the fetal chest
• Optimize imaging for the evaluation of the fetal heart
• Assess the four-chamber view and recognize the anomalies that are amenable to detection
• Assess the three-vessel trachea view and recognize the anomalies that are amenable to detection
• Test their knowledge in recognizing congenital heart disease by using an audience response system to answer questions on presented-case unknowns
• Recognize abnormalities of the fetal urinary tract
• Recognize sonographic clues to abnormalities of the placenta and cord
• Perform a systematic basic gynecologic exam
• Utilize the O-RADS classification in the assessment of adnexal masses
• Properly utilize ultrasound in the evaluation of the patient with abnormal uterine bleeding
• Recognize the sonographic findings for adenomyosis
• Properly evaluate the asymptomatic post-menopausal patient with a thickened endometrium
• Recite the role of ultrasound in the evaluation of the infertility patient
 

Course Materials and CME Certificate

You will receive a link to the digital syllabus containing lecture abstracts and slides a few days prior to the course date, should you wish to download and/or print these in advance of the course.  Once onsite you will receive a  notebook with lecture objectives and notes pages. Your course evaluation and CME certificate will be sent to the email you provide when registering.

An expanded continental breakfast, as well as break refreshments will also be provided daily in the exhibit area.

Group Registration Discount

Two or more registrations qualify for a group discount. Call our office to receive $75 off each registrant’s fee. The registrations must be made at the same time, and this discount is not retroactive.

Refunds

In case you find that you need to cancel, we will be happy to refund your registration less a nominal $75 processing fee. We will honor cancellations received through December 28, 2022. We’re sorry but we can not provide refunds after that date.
