Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Physician Assistants

The American Academy of Physician Assistants accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ from organizations accredited by ACCME. This course qualifies for Category 1 CME for PA’s.

Nurse Practitioners

The American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program accept continuing education credits sponsored by organizations, agencies, or educational institutions accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).

Certified Nurse Midwives

The American Midwifery Certification Board Certificate Maintenance Program accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to satisfy the contact hours requirement.
