Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:

  1. Describe lesion locations which may prove challenging to access by stereotactic guidelines
  2. Describe techniques for increasing effective breast thickness
  3. Describe techniques for accessing posterior and subareolar lesions
  4. Describe the procedure of stereotactic lesion targeting
  5. Outline when repositioning of biopsy device is required
